In a significant advance for healthcare in southern Honduras, the new Health Center in San Bernardo, Namasigüe, has been inaugurated. This project, with a total investment of L. 4,213,918, represents a crucial improvement in the quality of healthcare services for over 3,000 people from 10 nearby communities.
The modern health center facilities feature 10 fully equipped areas designed to ensure an appropriate and dignified environment for the population’s medical care. These areas focus on providing comprehensive and quality care, with the goal of improving the region’s health conditions, offering services that include medical consultations, preventive care, and community health programs.
This important project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of key strategic partners. Seafresh Group and Marks and Spencer, along with the Namasigüe Municipality, the local community, Grupo Granjas Marinas, and Fundesur, have joined efforts to carry out this initiative, which will positively impact the lives of thousands of people.
This health center is a testament to the power of teamwork and commitment to public health. The dedication of these organizations has been fundamental to the construction of this space, which now stands as an essential pillar in improving the quality of life in southern Honduras. With this new center, local communities will have access to more efficient and accessible healthcare services, marking a turning point in the region’s medical care.
Fundesur continues its mission to strengthen healthcare in the country’s most needy areas, and the inauguration of this center is another step toward creating a healthier future for all Hondurans.
