Empowering Young Athletes: Donating Uniforms to the Osas Softball Team

We donated uniforms to the Osas softball team in El Triunfo, made up of talented young girls aged 11 to 15. We know that sports are crucial for developing motor skills, spatial intelligence, teamwork, and creativity. By providing these opportunities, we not only improve their physical health but also enrich their education and personal growth.

New School Furniture for Fredy Omar Chavarría Kindergarten!

At Fundesur, we are pleased to announce one of our latest initiatives: the delivery of school furniture to the Fredy Omar Chavarría Kindergarten. This project, valued at 27,500 lempiras, has been a significant effort to improve the learning conditions of the youngest members of our community. The furniture delivered includes 5 sets of tables and 30 chairs, specifically designed to meet the needs of preschool children. Before this delivery, the children at Fredy Omar Chavarría Kindergarten lacked suitable and pedagogical school furniture, which was in very poor condition. With this new provision, around 30 children will be able to enjoy a more comfortable and stimulating learning environment.

The importance of having adequate furniture in classrooms cannot be overstated. A proper learning environment is essential for the cognitive and emotional development of children. The new tables and chairs will not only improve the comfort of the students but also promote correct posture and facilitate dynamic and collaborative educational activities. This delivery is part of our ongoing commitment to improving education in our community. At Fundesur, we firmly believe that all children deserve access to quality education in a safe and suitable environment. We are convinced that investments like this are essential for the integral development of students and the future of our society. We continue to work together for dignified and quality education.

Promoting Interactive Learning in La Cuchilla

We are carrying out a school reinforcement activity in the community of La Cuchilla, focused on the subject of Spanish. With a continuous attendance of 27 children aged 8 to 12, this extracurricular program is held from 2 to 4 pm and aims to strengthen essential skills such as reading, punctuation mark identification, and accentuation.

These special classes are designed for children to learn interactively, using multimedia tools, dynamics, and playful games. Our goal is to create a fun and stimulating learning environment that inspires children to improve their language skills and develop a love for knowledge.

Through this initiative, we hope not only to improve students' academic competencies but also to foster their creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning.

Progress in the Construction of the Sanitary Module in Buena Vista

At Fundesur, we are excited to share with you the progress of one of our most important projects: the construction of a sanitary module at the Republic of Honduras Basic Center in Buena Vista. This new space will directly benefit a student population of approximately 330 students, significantly improving their hygiene and health conditions.

The sanitary module, which includes 5 sanitary units and 2 urinals, is currently 90% complete. This infrastructure not only represents a physical space but also a crucial step towards a safer and healthier school environment. The implementation of these sanitary modules is essential to ensure that our children can learn and develop in an environment that promotes their overall well-being.

The importance of having adequate sanitary facilities in schools cannot be underestimated. Sanitary modules help prevent diseases, reduce school absenteeism, and promote hygiene habits among students. When children have access to clean and safe sanitary facilities, they not only improve their physical health but also feel more comfortable and focused, positively impacting their academic performance.

At Fundesur, we are committed to creating spaces that promote the education and well-being of our children. We thank all our allies and collaborators for their continued support in carrying out projects like this that make a tangible difference in our communities.

Oral Health Campaign for Children with Colgate Palmolive

We conducted a training session and distributed oral hygiene kits in collaboration with our valuable allies at Colgate Palmolive. This event, held at the schools in La Cuchilla and Nueva Concepción, was aimed at children from kindergarten to fourth grade, benefiting a total of 153 students and their respective teachers.

During the training, the children learned important brushing techniques and participated in an educational talk about oral health. Each child received a complete oral hygiene kit, including cups, toothbrushes, educational guides for parents and children, and toothpaste. These tools will not only help improve the children's oral hygiene but also educate their families about the importance of maintaining good dental health.

This event would not have been possible without the generous support of Colgate Palmolive, whose commitment to the health and well-being of children is inspiring. We deeply appreciate their collaboration and look forward to continuing to work together to improve the quality of life for children in our communities.
